I am an Abstract Painter. I paint intuitively often responding to pain and emotions. Although, memories also feature in my artwork. My paintings are colourful, mostly influenced by my heritage. I use a variety of processes and tools to achieve the final piece.

My work lies somewhere between abstract and representational. I use nature as inspiration but will change and alter the colour and form to create my painting. Therefore my work is both real and imaginary, aways working with an element of chance.

Most of the painting I do comes from inspiration on the land and sky around us, I store the images and colours to produce expressionist landscapes and some more abstract works. You can contact me at email@example.com

Art is my life and it is how I express myself and how I comment on the world... I am about abstraction of shape, expressionist colour with a naive style. I have been fascinated with art and especially painting for as long as I can remember. I have lived between the London area and Paris as I am half French my entire life, my family is from all over France. I have always been into the art scene and have visited art galleries, exhibitions and been to the places which have inspired the painters I love and who inspire me. I am a keen photographer and I usually photograph the scene I wish to paint, I also draw inspiration from fashion photography especially for my nudes. I have travelled to many parts of the world and have been particularly inspired by West Africa, the South of France, the Middle East, in particular Jordan as well as many other beautiful places. I decided to become a painter in 2006 as this is what I love to do and is what I feel I do best. Since 2006 I have travelled and done a lot of education towards this goal I have so much inspiration now and so many ideas for future work. This is only the beginning of what I hope is a great future as a painter.

Based in the Northeast of England, I am a self taught artist with a love and passion for all things arty and crafty. I feel most at home with watercolour, loving the freedom and the excitement that this medium has to offer although most of my experience is based around Acrylics. I enjoy producing loose wash and experimental paintings as much as I do with the more detailed pencil and ink drawings. I am contactable for any commission work that you may require, with a keen interest in portraits and pet portraits.
