One Day It Will Happen
This painting was inspired by listening to Bjork’s debut album recently and thinking about a future when flying would be a more unusual experience. I’ve seen crepuscular sun beams like searchlights very similar to these when I lived in Elswick in Newcastle in the north east of England.

I am a painter of northern landscapes and of the sea. I'm an established artist in the north of England but I'm also known more widely with for example my TV participation in the SKY Portrait Artist of the Year competition.
