49.6%. This is the proportion of women in the world.
This simple yet essential fact is the starting point for the exhibition by the FEM artists’ collective. Through their works, the women artists gathered in 49.6% explore the place of women in our society. Through the diversity of their artistic and conceptual approaches, each offers a unique, intimate, direct, or poetic perspective. The creations question the female condition and the challenges women face in our society. They address themes such as gender equality, violence against women, persistent taboos, and the importance of speaking out, listening, and passing on knowledge. These are all subjects that still need to be made visible, exhibited, and debated today. Art here becomes a space for expression and resistance. The public is invited to participate in this process. A totem of words is available for your use. Everyone can leave a message, a phrase, a word, a little bit of themselves, to extend the exchange and enrich the collective reflection. 49.6% thus opens a space for dialogue dedicated to the place of contemporary women, offering an engaged, inspiring, and participatory exhibition.

Of all forms of art, Marian prefers to express herself through collage. Her analog compositions combine acrylic paint and oil paint, original illustrations dating from 1900 till today and three dimensional recycled components. The works, influenced by pop art, dadaism and surrealism, show originality and freshness.
