A surreal installation of pigs in a vintage bird cage.
Altered Art, assemblage, surreal, dada ... bizarre, bizarre.
I have been collecting objects, found and purchased, at brocantes and antiquaires.
These objects belong to natural history, geology, ethnography, archaeology, religious or historical relics.
By assembling and superposing details of these objects, works of art and antiquities, they tell new tales and stories.
From 17 Dec 2021 - 19 Feb 2022 my works were be on show in the Cabinet de Curiosité at the Centre Cultural Chabran in Draguignan.
My art, roots and personal relics mixed with tales of the traditional heritage of the Provence.

About the artist
Of all forms of art, Marian prefers to express herself through collage. Her analog compositions combine acrylic paint and oil paint, original illustrations dating from 1900 till today and three dimensional recycled components. The works, influenced by pop art, dadaism and surrealism, show originality and freshness.
