My last commission in 2025, was for the Hotel Columbia in Berlin. I proposed a series of sketches on the theme of Berlin. Four of them were selected and created as transfer collages with oil paint and pastels. The four original artworks, each 100 x 100 cm will be displayed in the hotel lounge, while reproductions will be on view in the rooms. The Hotel Columbia will reopen sOOn and photos on site will follow!!!
‘Columbia 3’ represents Berlin Tempelhof Airport, one of the first airports in Berlin, Germany.
The semi-transparent composition is mixed with a collage from my triptych ‘Stand Still’, 2020 in which ladies stand still in time.

About the artist
Of all forms of art, Marian prefers to express herself through collage. Her analog compositions combine acrylic paint and oil paint, original illustrations dating from 1900 till today and three dimensional recycled components. The works, influenced by pop art, dadaism and surrealism, show originality and freshness.
