This painting is one of many I have made over the past 20 years of the journey down Hartside Pass to the Vale of Eden. It shows a cloud inversion with Blencathra and Skiddaw peaking above the sea of cloud like islands. The weather and light changes our perception of everything and allows the mind to imagine another world.
