Finished expedition collaborative mural in my large studio on Polarstern below the helideck
Around 40 scientists and crew members including the Chief Scientist and the Captain contributed creatively in different ways to the making of this 1.5m wide 10m long mural, possibly the longest painting on canvas ever made at sea.

I am a painter of northern landscapes and of the sea. I'm an established artist in the north of England but I'm also known more widely with for example my TV participation in the SKY Portrait Artist of the Year competition.
