Why Did Summer Go So Quickly

At the end of a day drawing in the dunes behind the beach the shadows of the marram grass draw out across the sand whilst some blades and clumps of grass catch the warm low sunlight. Out on the beach the tide turns. Everything turns, everyday, every season. It’s unstoppable.
