This work presents a harmonious and striking collage. Against a pale pink background, the kneeling Dutch actress Willeke van Ammelrooy is masterfully composed of image fragments, merging the past and the present. Pieces of torn paper add a palpable texture, while the absence of a face intensifies the mystery. An empty silhouette on the left creates a fascinating contrast with the almost ethereal figure. Delicate hues and soft contours accentuate the form of the body, enveloped in a flowing dress.
