I created this painting on a Friday night and was thinking about going out dancing. It was a tension between needing to paint after a rough week at work and wanting to go out and cut loose. I like the graphic touch of the marks on this painting against the loose expressionist painting.
I’ve used acrylic paint and charcoal on canvas.
