A triptych featuring Brigitte Bardot.
The background elements in this triptych are details of illustrations of Joan Miro’s works.
Bleu : ‘Azul III’, White : ‘Bird, insect, constellation’ and Red : ‘Bird in the night’.
Added to these backgrounds are cuttings from 1958 editions of Cinemonde, a French film magazine.
On ‘Red’ the illustration is of a very young Brigitte Bardot, circa 1953.
Both ‘Blue’ and ‘White’ show illustrations of Brigitte Bardot during the filming of ‘La Femme et le Pantin’, in 1958.
Triptych; 3 works each 13x13cm framed in 25x25cm wooden frames.
This triptych can be read as a short story but each element is also an unique artwork on its own.
Signed, varnished, framed and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

About the artist
