‘Vienna 3’ is a paper collage built up from 3 elements.
The background is an image of ‘Guitar, Bottle and Fruit Bowl’ by Pablo Picasso.
Added is a detail of Gustav Klimt’s ‘The Three Ages of Woman’.
The composition is finished with a black and white illustration of a nude.
This illustration is from a 1930’s French erotic magazine.
The work is an ode to women and to Klimt, whose primary subject was the female body. His works are often marked by a frank eroticism.
