Love Letters is a paper collage with various vintage elements.
The background is composed of a young woman’s breast at the bottom and the image of a church in Spain above.
In the tree next to the church we see the face of a soldier, who is standing on the left.
His head is replaced by a stamp.
Underneath we can read the last lines of a love letter.
It reads… ‘Pour la cléf que maman a envoyée, c’est celle ... la première porte. Bons baisers, Alice.’
On the foreground stands Stella Stevens in the arms of Elvis Presley.
This image from the musical ‘Girls,girls,girls’, is an original illustration from ‘CineMonde’, October 1962.
