A three component, surreal and Renaissance paper collage on 20x20cm canvas board.
The background is built up from two sky views of which the bottom one is upside down.
On top of this blue background is Salomé from the artwork ‘Salomé with the head of John the Baptist’, painted by Titian, of the Venetian school of art.
In this work the head of Saint John is replaced by that of Salomé herself.
All images are authentic vintage illustrations from magazines and books.
Signed, varnished, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

About the artist
