The two publicities that are used as background are original images from 50’s magazines.
These ads are for car fog lights.
The second layer is an authentic illustration from Life magazine of a couple in a car, a Pontiac Tempest from the 60’s.
The couple’s faces are covered with butterflies.
On the foreground is the image of Sigmund Freud, another “antibrouillard ciblé”.
To see clearly through a thick fog, the headlights and / or Freud might bring a solution.

About the artist
Of all forms of art, Marian prefers to express herself through collage. Her analog compositions combine acrylic paint and oil paint, original illustrations dating from 1900 till today and three dimensional recycled components.
