Sunrise, Canary Islands

The colours on the western horizon opposite the rising sun were very beautiful and fast changing. Here the shadow of the earth is cast into the lower sky and above it refracted pink light begins to draw down making the sea a subtle magenta colour. These colours were not picked up as effectively by my camera and the drawing gives a closer impression of what I perceived.
