Spiral Stepping Stones in a Pedestrian Walkway at the Bield

A commission to create seven spirals in mosaic for a pedestrian walkway at the Bield at Blackruthven.  Each “stepping stone”  is unique, the smallest about 1m in diametre, and the largest up to 2m.  None are perfect circles.

They are made of non-slip tile, with ribbons of glass creating the vine spiral.  The flowers and birds are of bone china crockery.
