Two male figures dressed in elegant business suits are headless. The absence of faces lends an aura of mystery, questioning identity and individuality in the modern world. One of the figures carries a briefcase, symbolising a standardised and anonymous professional life. The work uses monochrome tones, reminiscent of the style of Dadaist collages, reinforcing a surreal and timeless atmosphere. The striking contrast between the rigid forms of the suits and the human absence embodies dehumanisation in contemporary society. The artist skilfully plays with themes of alienation and the absurd, prompting the viewer to reflect on the individual’s place in the face of societal expectations. This bold and metaphorical juxtaposition sparks a debate on emancipation, conformity, and personal identity.
