Briological Notes garden table

Briology is the study of mosses.  This table was designed for the Poole House Gallery’s show theme on lady botanists.  At that time I was also reading The Signature of All Things about a fictional pioneering Victorian lady briologist. (Elizabeth Gilbert ISBN: 9781408841921.) The glass design is an abstract mosaic which evolved while thinking on mosses.
Materials:  stained glass, mirror, Smalti and fused glass pieces.
