‘The Bride’ is a ghostly composition built up from images from authentic vintage magazines.
This surreal collage juxtaposes everyday elements with unexpected objects. At the center, an antique four-poster bed stands framed by elegant white curtains. A couture mannequin, dressed in a sumptuous gown, appears to dance around the scene, accentuating the eeriness of the setting. Window frames float in the background, defying the laws of gravity, while a bare tree wraps itself around the furniture, adding a natural and whimsical touch. The vibrant turquoise background highlights the strange and harmonious assemblage of objects. About the artist
