Moonflowers

Acrylic abstract painting of “moonflowers”. This could mean they are the style of flowers that grow on the moon, or that the flowers look like little moons - I leave that interpretation up to you, the viewer. Painted around the edges, so there is no need for additional framing. The colours used for the background are burnt sienna and mars black. The flower heads and petals are painted using metallic silver and cerise respectively.
