About Mary Valencia

These are some of my paintings and I will be adding more soon. I do representational as well as abstract compositions, in watercolors and oils.
My undergrad concentration was illustration and I have spent most of my career doing graphic design, photo retouching and illustration.
Working full-time for Yale University Press as a book and jacket designer has actually enhanced my love for abstraction and this has definitely benefited my paintings. I am a member of the Connecticut Watercolor Society.
