Winter Stillness

‘Winter Stillness’ is part of a series of paintings of the same young woman. In each painting I chose a key colour to create a particular mood and tried to bring out a different aspect of her character. Here the pink of the winter sky echoes her hat producing a sense of harmony and calm.
