Out Of This World

Out Of This World is a white, neutral toned, magical realism painting with barn owls and deer. It is 48x48x1.5 inches. The painting shows two transparent barn owls gliding through a woodland clearing with rows of deer observing them from beneath the trees. There is a hint of a lake and snow and the colour is predominately white with pale peach, gold, blues and lilacs. The inspiration was the feeling I get sometimes when entering a woodland and the atmosphere changes – as if nature holds her breath whilst I trespass though her domain.
