A small, jewel-like study of a water droplet — a fleeting moment transformed into light and form.
Splash is a small painting centred on a single water droplet coronet — a distinct motif and a departure from my usual work. I wanted to explore how something momentary and fluid could become precise and jewel-like, turning a fleeting instant into something lasting.
On a small scale, the image takes on the quality of a gem or miniature study, celebrating both the simplicity and complexity of form. It’s a quiet experiment in focus, light, and delicacy, transforming the brief shimmer of a splash into a contained world of its own. The painting comes presented in a simple natural aged recycled batten oak flat frame, 0.5 cm in width, and is ready to hang with supplied wire.
