Alignment 2 continues my exploration of a tree whose early-spring branches seemed to form comet trails, converging in a pattern that felt both earthly and celestial. Where the first Alignment captured that instant of recognition, this second work turns inward — a meditation on rhythm, repetition, and quiet cosmic order.
Painted in acrylic on sandpaper, the textured surface scatters light across the image, suggesting motion and depth. The piece reflects on how nature mirrors the heavens, and how the act of looking closely can reveal alignments we might otherwise miss — fleeting harmonies between growth and gravity, chaos and grace.
