Zed's Dead - 'king Putin

This painting was completed on 24th August 2022, Ukraine’s independence day and exactly six monthes after Russia’s invasion. It was painted to release my anger at the atrocities and to cement his eventual death with reality.
The crown and skull are homage to Jean Michelle Basquiat who I knew in New York before he died.
