From one of my walks in Aykley Heads, Durham, during a warm hazy summer when the grass is dry and there’s a pink shimmer from the seedheads and sky.
Soft, gentle tones bringing the warmth of summer in.
Painted in oils on canvas with wooden stretcher frame and fixings provided so that it can be hung without an additional frame.
