I wanted Blossom Tree at Night to capture the intense contrast of light on blossom after dark — that moment when a tree seems to glow against the night sky, its petals bright and weightless. It’s an ephemeral beauty, one that might exist only for a single night, before wind or rain takes it away.
Part of The Blossom Tree series, this painting reflects on light, impermanence, and memory — how the briefest scenes can linger longest in the mind. The beech tray frame gives space for the image to breathe, allowing the edges and surface to remain visible, much like the night air around the bloom itself.
