The Pangolin

My artwork for 2020- a Verre Eglomise (imit.gold leaf on glass)- The Pangolin. Pangolins are the world’s only mammal covered in scales made of keratin. When pangolins feel threatened they curl up into a ball to protect themselves. The 8 species in the wild (4 in Africa, 4 in Asia) are all threatened with extinction from poaching.
