2d or not 2d

Since being an art student in the 1980’s I have been interested in artwork by M C Esher (1898-1972). His artwork “Reptiles” was the inspiration for this piece. I love the trickery that can happen in art, where the viewer can be led to believe that a 2d image is also a 3d image. This artwork recieved “highly commended” in July 2012 at the Best of Hampshire Artists exhibition.
