The witness said: A profiling box

‘The witness said’ is an artist’s box (limited edition of ten) based on my recent series of paintings that investigate instances of racial profiling of black men in the UK. The original paintings were first shown in Eastbourne and Brighton in 2018/19. The work is primarily based on personal experiences living in Brighton and highlights the sometimes absurd instances in which racial profiling occurs.
There are 12 key elements in the box that can be engaged with in a manner of your own choosing to reflect upon the subject matter and the artistic interpretation of it.
