Gestalt I

For Gestalt I, II, and III   I selected, re-formed, integrated and recycled fragments of my paintings, drawings & photographs in order to make a ‘gestalt’.  The German word Gestalt means an organized whole that is perceived as more than the sum of its parts.  Psychologically its aim is the integration of the various disparate parts of ourselves. These pieces were in the exhibition ‘Ouroboros - transformation of the discarded’  August 2018 - a legacy to the artist Kurt Schweitzer’s - Merz Barn, Elterwater, The Lake District.
