On the way to Licola

Since the beginning of July I have been staying in Mid Gippsland Australia which has inspired a new series of work based on the landscape as I have experienced it during my exploration of the local terrain. I especially love the Knob Nature Reserve with it’s view point over the Stratford River, the plains and away to the Mountains. l have visited the Blue Pool, the Ninty-Mile Beach, the Lakes, the Mountains and the Rain Forrest. and have been living in a rural location. This has given me an insight into the area which I have grown to love.

The local community have been very welcoming right from the start and have offered an exhibition space in the Segue Arts Gallery and Cafe in the centre of Stratford for September. The exhibition of the whole series of paintings will run until my return to the UK at the end of the month.

The Segue Art Cafe is on the Princes Highway as it runs through Stratford in Central Gippsland, Victoria, Australia.
