Between the showers, Dulwich Orchard.
I wanted to capture the beautiful orchard trees in my local park in Dulwich. The day I was sketching this view the shower clouds had been gathering. It gave a great sense of drama with the contrast of light allowing the blossom to shine.
I’m always inspired by these brief moments of light that’s happens in nature, allowing an almost ethereal atmosphere which I hope reflects in this painting.
