Welsh Quilt

Stitched Welsh slates resting on slate shelves. Method same as for ‘Still Life.’ Welsh quilters would sometimes use domestic crockery as aids in drawing up designs, hence the imagery used here to suggest crockery and utensils on kitchen shelves.
