Tokavaig, Isle of Skye.  Oil on canvas 30 x 20 inches.  Framed size 36 x 26 inches.

Fitted in an “Antique” distressed gold frame with a warm white slip (Dimity, by Farrow and Ball).

This painting featured in the exhibition at Sabhal Mor Ostaig, the centre for the Gaelic language and culture in Scotland and it also appeared in several media articles.  Originally titled ‘Survivor’ for obvious reasons, it features one of the ancient Birch trees in the Tokavaig conservation area.
