Planetary

Planetary forms part of my series using nine-letter titles, and connects closely with Constellation Inspires Young Painter. Painted in acrylic on rough grade sandpaper, the surface gives a sense of friction and texture — a fitting echo of how the celestial and the earthly meet.
The painting suggests a window view at night, but also operates conceptually, reflecting on orbit — the invisible forces that govern movement, time, and the rhythm of our lives.
Like much of my work, Planetary sits between observation and imagination, between the outer world and the inner space of thought. It’s both a view and an idea — a meditation on how everything, in its way, is held in motion.
