This piece is incomplete, but it has achieved its purpose as an exercise piece.
Attempting to capture the likeness of my mother in stone is in effect an act of worship. And it is hoped that the more time spent studying the subject in her different moods, the more successful will be the portrait bust when at last it is attempted.
