Mielikki - Goddess Of The Forest Earrings - Carnelian and Copper

For these earrings, suitable for a Goddess of the Forest or a forest Nymph, i have used the earthy colours of Copper wire with faceted Carnelian stones.

Completely handmade, these earrings have handmade earwires, which are connected to coiled copper links, and a hammered frame, which I have embellished with coiled wire. The striking central detail is made using a faceted Carnelian stone, set in the frame of heavy gauge copper wire, from this hangs several dangles made from hammered copper wire.

The earrings are 2 3/4’ long in total. The central detail is 7/8’ wide.
