After the Festival
This abstract design was originally created to be a fine art silk scarf. I printed sheets of paper using relief inks in plain colours then spontaneously cut out random shapes, arranging them into the collaged image you see here. Most of the paper is Fabriano Rosapina.

About the artist
My 'Paperscapes' are low relief contour maps of pattern and structure in paper. Also ink drawings and prints, painting, collage and frottage.
