Chris finds Lewis at The Whale Club
I had been enjoying George Grosz’s Ecce Homo drawings and was working on sketches of people sitting at tables. It seemed that the decor of this first drawing, however improbably given the disco floor, could be the skeletal remains of a whale, hence the title.
