Framed stone fragments from the studio floor. These fragments are the carefully removed pieces of stone that helped to reveal an important McAlistair Hood sculpture. These fragments are the remnants of a 1.2 tonne block of Belgian Blue limestone that eventually became the life-sized portrait of Sula the Retriever. See elsewhere on this website. A small booklet with photos of the work accompanies this product.
