Inspired by the song Never Enough from the hit musical film The Greatest Showman, which was described by songwriter Justin Paul as an extravagant sensory overload, I tried to create the same mood here. This is about love, it’s significance and how it’s valued and cherished… With metallic gold acrylic applied to the highlights to give the painting added depth under subdued lighting. The painted image continues around the edges of the box canvas.
