Standing Guard

Scots pines stand guard on a hilltop. This painting has been built up in layers to show texture and contrast. There are gold swirls in the foreground and the rich golden trees stand out against the cream background. The painting continues round the edges of the canvas making it ready to hang with no framing necessary. This painting has been finished with a protective satin varnish.
