Sunlight on Water
One warm, brilliantly sunny afternoon, standing at the end of the pier and gazing at the dancing surface of the water, I was inspired to hold this mesmorising image in my mind and, later, to attempt to bring it back to life, in paint. Working in oils, it took many layers (and weeks) to reach completion.
Framed in 7mm (wide) x 25cm (deep) natural obeche.
