Morning Light at Lochindaal
Another one of my “Paintings of Scotland” - Morning Light at Loch Indaal. The Loch Indaal lighthouse, also called Port Charlotte light, is close to the town of Port Charlotte on the road to Bruichladdich. It is early morning,there is a light mist in the distance obscuring neighbouring Jura but creating fascinating shades of pink and lilac in the clouds. This work is painted on a deep profile canvas with the composition continued on the edges to allow hanging without framing if so desired.
