Le Jardin Secret

This work is based on an overgrown garden at an estate just down the River Thames from Cliveden House in Berkshire. The title refers to the children’s book by Frances Hodgson Burnett. the work is cut paper mounted in shadow box frame with a metallic spray paint background. As the viewer moves and the light in the room changes, the shadows on the background move adding to a sense of mystery.
