The piano lesson
This painting has its inspiration from a life drawing pose and a visit to someone my son knew in Belgium. I was so taken with her apartment, she let me take some photos for reference to use. It must have been built early in the 20th century, possibly even the 19th and had wonderful original features, plus a baby grand piano.
