Viking Knit Draw Plate - English Oak With Pine Mandrels handmade wooden drawplate tool for wire chain making

This Viking knit draw plate is made from a piece of English oak.
It is hand cut, shaped and sanded then drilled out with 11 holes! It is cut from a solid piece of wood for strength and has been finished using 2 coats of Danish wood oil for protection from moisture and to bring out the natural warm colour of this hard wood.

The plate comes with 4 x pine mandrels for various chain size options.
